How Are HomeLife Housekeepers Qualified?

Home Cleaning and Your Security For your security and peace of mind, HomeLife housekeepers are carefully screened (including pre-employment background checks and drug screening). We take pride in our enviable reputation for trustworthy housecleaning personnel.

Housecleaning with “Employees” versus “Independent” Cleaners Because HomeLife is a cleaning company (maid service) with true “employees” rather than “independent” cleaners, we can legally provide thorough training for our housekeepers. You can be confident that they will work in a professional manner, using care to protect your property. Our rigorous certification program honors achievement in cleaning knowledge, productivity and skill. This commitment to quality assurance brings you housecleaning personnel who are noted for reliable cleaning service and customer satisfaction.

Housekeepers and Workers’ Compensation Insurance. Because HomeLife housekeepers are true “employees” rather than “independent” cleaners supplied by a referral agency or other entity, we provide you with the crucial protection of workers’ compensation insurance in case of injury on the job. We also pay all employment taxes, including Social Security, Medicare and unemployment. Because we assume the risk of job-related injuries and unemployment benefits, no HomeLife customer needs to be concerned with the possibility of becoming liable for hidden but potentially very expensive costs associated with being a “household employer” (see IRS Publication 926).
